New Picture Framing shop to open in Midtown Fort Collins
Artisan Framing, at 1606 S. Lemay Unit 103, will open for business on July 15, 2014. Owners Max Ayars and Laura Truitt have 15+ years of experience in the picture framing industry along with each holding Master's Degrees in Fine Art from Colorado State University. Artisan Framing will carry a unique range of quality frames from local manufacturers to international designers priced to fit any budget.
Come visit our new space, in the shopping center on the corner of Prospect and Lemay. It has recently been renovated and boasts a large gallery space and an open, airy atmosphere. Practicing artists Ayars (printmaking) and Truitt (painting) also have studio space in the back of the building.
Artisan Framing aims to provide quality, custom framing to Fort Collins and the surrounding communities. They will also have bi-monthly shows in their gallery space beginning with a Colorado State University Faculty exhibition that opens on August 1st and runs through September 26th. We will host an opening reception on September 5th from 5-7 pm. The collection of prints and drawings by current and past CSU instructors will showcase Artisan Framing's designs and prices.
“Before being a customer of Artisan Framing, I had been a loyal customer of another long running frame shop in Fort Collins for all my art until they became undependable with deadlines. This year, I came across Artisan Framing and I can honestly say that I need not look any further. Their quality, timeliness and professionalism has made me a loyal and trusting customer.”
